Introduction

Mentors are adults from the local community who spend time with a young person with the aim of motivating and encouraging them to improve their skills and raise their aspirations. Bromley Mentoring Initiative supports a number of programmes:

•  Behaviour Service •  Primary Support
•  Community Safety •  Youth Offending Service
•  Leaving Care •  Young Carers

Sessions are held on a regular basis, often weekly, but this varies from programme to programme. If you would like to find out more about being a mentor please email mentoring@bromley.gov.uk.

Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, unfortunately we have had to temporarily freeze recruitment to the volunteer mentoring position.  We will update this page when we are able to receive applications again.
