Cabinet Office Youth Day - 6th June 2022
The Cabinet Office Youth Day is an initiative from the Cabinet Office Race Equality (CORE) Network, which aims to spotlight the Civil Service through the lens of young Civil Servants under 32, introduce young people from across the UK to the innovative projects that young Civil Servants lead or support, and curate a day where government departments collectively listen, support and encourage young people to access opportunities in the Civil Service.
As part of this event, they are running a number of virtual sessions where attendees will hear about the exciting and innovative work of some of their young Civil Servants, as well as some in-person activities at their office in London. This will give select undergraduates from six universities the opportunity to meet Civil Servants from a variety of departments face-to-face, see what a typical working day is like, and get some useful tips on recruitment processes.
