Volunteers' Week - 1-7 June 2021 - thank you to our mentors!
Volunteers’ Week takes place between 1-7 June every year and is a time to recognise and thank volunteers. During an exceptionally difficult year, people from all walks of life around the UK have taken the time to volunteer and made a huge difference to people and their communities – just as they do every year.
That’s why the theme for this year’s Volunteers’ Week is ‘A time to say thanks’.
Bromley EBP would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the Bromley Mentoring Initiative volunteer mentors. This year has been difficult for all and because of the patience, adaptability and resilience of our fabulous mentors we have been able to continue to support mentees despite them being out of school. This would not have been possible without the mentors’ commitment and dedication and we are very grateful. We appreciate that some people have not been able to volunteer because of the pandemic, thank you for staying loyal to us and we look forward to welcoming you back.
Thankfully we are gradually getting back to face to face mentoring and we look forward to things getting back to normal very soon.
