Thames Water Education Centre/Site Visits - Dartford

Thames Water are constructing an education centre which will be ready for school visits from September 2018.

  • Up to 30 students per visit
  • A typical visit is from 10am – 2pm
  • Visits include a tour of the sewage treatment works and various curriculum focused workshops and practical activities

Further to school visits Thames Water also offer a range of activities/resources:

‘Community Speaker’ visits for classes or assemblies.  These are presented by Thames Water’s education team or expert volunteers within the industry who are able to bring to life many different topics related to water, including (but not limited to):

Network Challenge – an award winning STEM challenge where students design, cost, build and test a mini water network for up to 50 students (please contact Greg Baker directly with suitable dates to book and the timings of your school day)
