Apprenticeships really make a difference to employers

Employers with an established apprenticeship programme reported a staggering 76% increase in productivity.  What’s more the government will pay 90% of the training costs, so taking on apprentices is a real win-win situation. Employers can also receive a grant of £1,000 if they recruit a 16-18 year old apprentice and if they employ fewer than 50 staff the training costs of taking on a 16-18 year old apprentice are also covered.
