Local and National Employers help young people with their ‘Next Steps’

Employers from a range of local and national organisations will be giving up their time on Wednesday 27th November to work with over 60 Year 12 and 13 students to help them be better prepared for the workplace in the future.  Bullers Wood and Darrick Wood schools will be encouraging a group of sixth form students from their school who do NOT intend to progress to University when they finish their studies to attend this event.

The aim of the session is help offer the opportunity for the young people to learn from employers about work, employment and the skills that are valued in the workplace. This event provides them with an opportunity to explore their career ideas and expand their networks.
