We offer a high quality service accredited by the Institute for Education Business Excellence (IEBE) and work with all secondary schools, colleges and other educational organisations in Bromley who share our passion for developing young people’s understanding of how qualifications gained at school translate to real working life. Bromley EBP can provide a comprehensive range of services to help you enrich your pupils’ work related learning and develop their personal learning and thinking and employability skills. See our Offer of Services for Secondary Schools and Colleges 2010/11 for details on specific programmes.
Our activities are tailored to meet the needs of individual groups of pupils, so can be aimed at a particular Key Stage, cater for students with special needs or learning difficulties, or support specific aspects of the curriculum. In addition we facilitate professional development placements for staff and run events to help them make the most of business and community links. Our programmes and activities support the new QCDA's curriculum framework for economic well-being 11-19; careers; work-related learning and enterprise.
Most students in Bromley will have the opportunity to go on some form of work experience. This may be for one or two weeks at a time or for one day a week for anything from a term to two academic years. Read our latest case studies here (Case Study 1, Case Study 2). We provide a range of services to help schools organise safe and rewarding placements. These range from providing training for School Work Experience Co-ordinators to providing events for pupils such as health and safety briefings.
