EBP Wins Partnership Award at Bromley Stars

The 10th annual Bromley Stars – the London Borough of Bromley’s staff awards night – took place on Friday 1st July. Bromley staff were joined by guests to celebrate and recognise the hard work of individual staff and teams over the last year. The Mayor, Cllr. Payne, the Leader of the Council Cllr. Carr and the Chief Executive, Doug Patterson presented the awards and praised staff for their commitment to working to Build a Better Bromley.

Members of the Bromley EBP team and the Youth Employment Scheme were delighted to win the Partnership award, which recognises teams working effectively with external organisations to deliver results. The judges were particularly impressed by BEBP’s efforts to help young people into contracted employment and find work experience for Children Looked After through the Youth Employment Scheme.

The event was sponsored by key LBB partners and businesses including The Landscape Group, Veolia, Kier, Ward Security, AECOM, CORA, Liberata, Northgate-Arinson, Costco and P&MM. BEBP were able to invite some of our own business partners who have supported the Youth Employment Scheme to the event including MITIE, Halkin Hotel and Metro Bank.
