BEBP Work Experience Package 2015/16

2015 has been another successful year for work experience. Bromley EBP supported 17 schools with their schemes with over 2500 young people safely return from 1 or 2 week placements.

In addition to processing nearly 3000 database check requests, our team of Business Link Coordinators have carried out pre-placement visits to 600 employers, adding to our existing database of over 7,500 organisations.  Placement opportunities provided by employers ranged from stately homes to festival organisers!

Bromley EBP is proud to once again offer its comprehensive package of work experience services to schools and colleges. The package aims to support local schools’ work experience programmes by offering a tailored support package which includes:

  • guidance and training for school work experience coordinators;
  • updated information on the latest health and safety and work experience guidelines;
  • a pre-placement visit service
  • access to expert advice and guidance from BEBP and other LBB staff on work experience related issues;
  • work experience logbooks for students undertaking placements.

The package costs £1250 per school/college and is a great investment. 14 local schools and colleges have already signed up, with a few more pending. All enquiries about the scheme should be directed to Sarah Hogan, BEBP Work Experience Services Co-ordinator. Please email Sarah at sarah.hogan@bromley.gov.uk or call 0208 461 6494.

Bromley EBP is also pleased to announce that it is now responsible for the management of the London Borough of Bromley’s (LBB) Work Experience Programme. All requests for work experience within LBB departments should now be directed to Sarah Hogan on the above contact details.
