Employers support students with their Next Steps

During the academic year 2018/19, Bromley EBP will continue to deliver a series of employability events for young people in partnership with our local and national employers.  Each event will be for students from local Bromley sixth forms, who have indicated they do not intend to go onto university when they finish their studies. The aim of each event is to expose young people to a range of employers who will be able to help them improve their employability skills and their transition to the workplace when they finish school next summer.

Each event has a bespoke programme offering the students key note speakers and inter-active speed networking sessions.  There will also be the opportunity for the young people to have a 1:1 mock interview with an experienced interviewer.  Employers from a range of sectors as well as community volunteers give up their time to pass on their knowledge and experience of the world of work providing this valuable support.  It also gives employers the chance to engage with local young people who will be the workforce of the future.

Our first event for this year will take place at the Central Library in Bromley on Friday 9th November for students from Langley Park School for Boys and Chislehurst School for Girls.
